How much does a website cost?
A$199 a month for Standard, or A$489 a month for Professional. There is no build fee and no setup charge. Paid yearly it is A$2,189 or A$5,379, which is one month free. All prices are in Australian dollars and we are not currently registered for GST, so no GST is added.
What is the free demo, exactly?
A working website with your real business details, live on a link you can open on your phone. Not a mockup and not a slide deck. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If you do not like it, say so and we delete it and never contact you again.
How long does it take?
Usually 24 hours from your reply to a working demo, and always by the following evening. Going live after that takes another day or two while the domain, hosting and certificate are set up.
What counts as a change request?
New prices, new photos, seasonal hours, a new page, or a full rewrite of your services. One request is included every calendar month, and unused ones roll over up to three saved, so a quiet month is not wasted. Anything materially larger, such as a full redesign, is quoted before we start rather than invoiced afterwards.
Can I cancel?
Twelve month minimum, then month to month with 30 days notice. We ask for a year because the first month is where most of the work sits. If you leave you keep your domain and we hand over your content.
Is there a build fee or setup charge?
No. The monthly price is the whole price. Most agencies charge for the build and then leave. We would rather be paid to keep the site working.
Do you do Copilot or Power Platform work?
Yes. Copilot Studio agents, Power Automate, SharePoint integrations and custom builds. That work is scoped and priced per piece of work against a written scope, not on a monthly plan. Tell us the problem and we will give you a number, or tell you honestly if we are not the right fit.
Where are you based?
Melbourne, Australia. ABN 73 859 156 472, which you can check on the Australian Business Register. Melbourne is where we are based rather than the limit of where we work: consulting is delivered remotely across Australia and internationally, and website clients are welcome anywhere.
How do we actually work together, and how do I pay?
Through an open contract on Upwork. Upwork provides the contract, holds the money in escrow, and releases it when you are satisfied. Spanora is new, so a contract we wrote ourselves is a document you have no reason to trust; an Upwork contract gives you a dispute process, a payment record and a public review history we do not control. It costs us a percentage, and we think that is a fair price for you not having to take our word for anything. Direct invoicing will come later, and we will not advertise a payment process we have not built yet.
When am I charged?
For a website, nothing until the site is live. No build fee, no deposit, and no charge for the demo. For consulting, against the agreed scope on milestones you approve, with the money held in escrow until you release it. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is added.
Who owns the website and the domain?
You do. If you registered the domain it stays registered to you, and if we registered it on your behalf we transfer it to you on request at no charge. Your text, images and business information remain yours and we hand them over on request. We will not hold a site or a domain over a dispute.
Will you write reviews or content for my business?
We will write and edit your page copy with you. We will never invent a review, a rating, a qualification or a service you do not offer. What you see in the demo is exactly what would go live, and if anything in it is wrong we correct or remove it immediately.
Do I need to be technical, or log in to anything?
No. Send a change request however suits you: text it, email it, or use the form. You never have to learn a system or log in to anything.
What if I already have a website?
That is the usual case. We build a replacement as a free demo so you can compare them side by side on your own phone before deciding anything. If yours is better, we will say so.
